Connecticut-born Irish Balladeer Dan Ringrose was reared
on Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem music, and he had
already begun singing their tunes by the age of three.  His
love of Irish music developed early in life, and that love grew
as he did.

Dan began performing professionally over twenty years
ago.  Known as a powerful baritone, he exudes an unbridled
passion for his Irish heritage, with its joys and tribulations.
His career has afforded him the privilege of opening
performances for the Clancy Brothers, Paddy Reilly,
Brendan Grace, the Wolfetones, and the Dublin City
Ramblers, as well as the honor of sharing the stage with
the legendary Tommy Makem.

Armed with a guitar and bodhran, along with a four hundred-
song repertoire, Dan’s performances have drawn superb
reviews throughout the United States and Ireland.
Audiences enjoy tender ballads, tunes of drinking and
merriment, sea shanties, and silly ditties.  Though his focus
remains on Irish music, Dan also sings a variety of
American folk and contemporary tunes.

Dan’s solo releases include “A New Season”, “All That
Matters”, “Seven Old Ladies”, and “Keeping the Tradition.”
They each capture the fervor and humor enjoyed by so many
through the years.
